we have had this recruiting class, i wonder (and kind of hope) that certain kids that bailed on psu late in the game and switched to the Red and Dark White have come to realize maybe they were better off here. them switching over after verbaling with psu and then going back on that to another school makes me feel they were not penn state bred anyway. but i still wonder if that decision bothers them at all. probably not denman because he will most likely transfer from Rutgers before his sophomore season though. that kid was all over the place haha
...and if you're not down with that, then I got 2 words for ya.."suck it!!"

They're not feeling regret yet. Cam might be, because he's already been criticized by their fans and isn't even on campus yet, and I doubt he ever gets to start there. But the rest of them won't feel any regrets for the time being. The regret will come after we whoop them a couple times and Mich also beats them and a certain coach realizes that his job ain't so easy just because he's not in the SEC anymore, and gets stressed out and begins to experience chest pains.

You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game, life or football-the margin for error is so small. -Pacino

After Breneman committed, I remembered that he and Spence are friends. They are very similar as far as their potentials go. But after listening to Adam's interviews after his decision, there is a major difference between the two. Adam wanted to be a part of the healing process at Penn State and Spence took the easy way out. To me, Spence and the "floppers" at Ohio State are cowards compared to the guys that we have on board this class and the last. "Coward" is a pretty strong word but its the first one that comes to me when I think of guys like Spence, Williams, and Reeves.

the difference is i think Noah let other people's perception influence his decision and Adam decided to pick a school and a offense he felt most comfortable in and thought he would have success. Some people still think we will get the SMU treatment, which i think is ridiculous but i try to follow the belief that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and it helps me sleep at night knowing that i am competing in life against morons that have thoughts like these.

Hey, you cant spell c_ck__cker without OSU. Ok, just joking. Feel free to delete this comment Sean. Was jus tryin to show my hatred towards OSU and that liar they call a head coach. Those kids were def'ly not PSU material. If they were, they wud have stuck by us in our time of need. But they didnt. I understand they are just kids and did wht they thought was right, but commitment shud mean something, even during thick and thin. Whats ironic is that most of the guys who left were on the defense side. LJ Sr & Vandy STAYED!!! These two were their position coaches. Newho, will b fun kickin their @rse in the next few years!!

Me? no, I said it probably played a part, as well as the school being close to home but also that he may have connected and want to build something w/ Hackenburg and look forward to playing under BOB.Do you deny that his love of the PSU program growing up played absolutley no factor? I did say a majoirty though, so maybe AB could be in the minority of kids that does truly pick to play for the school he loves? Has the question not been asked yet on what brought him to his choice? OSU has a few kids every year that are die hards so to speak, grew up fans and would want to play for OSU regardless of who the coach is. Just gotta hope those kids are the elite group of talent. Dont take offence if a kid picks your school because he is a fan, what does it truly matter what got him there as long as he is there.

A lot goes into picking a school and most of those variables changed drastically overnight. new d coordinator and secondary coach. new head coach. new rest of the staff including some of the guys that had built great relationships with them. extreme uncertainty in general regarding the future of what was arguably the most stable program in all of college football when they picked it.
Please try to keep some perspective here. It definitely stings that they left us for Ohio State, but it's wrong to dislike them any more than you would dislike a typical ohio state commitment.
