Good point. Because no one else recruits the state of Texas.
High level quarterbacks have offers from everyone, especially if they wait this long to commit. And especially if you come from Texas, where exposure is high.
I am not an expert in film evaluation (and neither are you). The experts (the coaches around the country) clearly didn't see this kid as being a high level QB.
Like I said, he's a great athlete. But he's a project. I wouldn't be surprised if he moves to reciever or gets beaten out by someone else when his time comes. I watched the film, and I'm far from impressed by his throwing ability.

Lefty I believe they only said they would offer after seeing him throw in person. Idk if that happened, but that was the original plan. And like 13to said, its Meyers offense. No one was impressed watching Tebow throw either but the route tree and system help make his numbers look good.

He was a strong thrower because the system he was in. And I was telling you that the OSU staff had originally planned to see him in person to make ssure they could work with the kid. So take it for what its worth. I certainly didnt disagree with you, but thank the Lord you're firm in your statements. Lol.

You have it correct. Barrett was the OSU staff's top target at QB and was the only one who didn't have to camp to commit.
We're pretty excited about him. Also, his final two were OSU and LSU, so the folks asking about offer lists should know that a bunch of good schools were after him.
With Bailey likely to end up at Nebraska, that puts the Big Four in the Big Ten (OSU, PSU, Nebraska, That Team Up North) with top notch QB kids already.
