I don't question MM being a coward and being guilty in all of this as well.
But by your logic Hitler's parents are to blame for his eventual conception. Because had they just not procreated you wouldn't have had WW2.
We are talking about Joe. Joe received the information and sat on it 'till Monday because I guess that's just the "humane" thing to do.

Here's the problem with the protocol argument.......The protocol was that everyone reported to Joe, EVERYONE. Joe called all the shots, and if you disagree with that then Santa Clause is coming down your chimney tonight to drop off some mid-summer presents.

Yes, honor a man who turned a blind eye to child molestation and helped sweep it under the rug and then lies about it and was more worried about ruining his bosses weekend. What a man to honor. It's funny to see people blast Redd as a coward and saying tough times and situations define a man and his leadership and then support Joe and want to honor him.

My opinion is right and if you disagree, then you obviously are stupid.
Is that seriously how we're arguing now?
Lubrano specifically gave examples where Spanier and others went against what Joe wanted. For example, joining in on the Big Ten Network. Other one was where to build the baseball stadium.
I think it's reasonable to say that Joe had more power than some typical football coaches. But come on...to say that EVERYONE reported to Joe? That's just a stupid statement. Are you saying the dean of the libraries reported to Joe too? Get out of here.
And last I checked, we've talked about the whole situation MANY times before. Why are we talking about this? The OP was about academics, not about Joe's reporting/lack of reporting, protocol, etc.

After @ least a decade of? That was first reported when? 45 lives ruined @ minimum? Do u have a # 4 that? Now throw in their parents and siblings. Then about another 3% of psu fans, athletes and students that actually care about the victims more then joepa and/or sanctions and give me a #.

You can believe what you want. Were there some decisions the bean counters made that Joe didn't like? Sure. But let's be real about who was in charge. How did Curley make out when he went to fire Joe at his house? I'm not saying Joe was worse than Curley, Spanier, and Shultz, but he was every bit as culpable and people here continue to defend Joe while crucifying the others.
