espn voting so close to number 1

It looks like an outside company runs this contest according to their "statement" @collegecolors.
I wouldnt think it would be too hard to go back to when this hack took place and wipe out all votes and start from where we were (which was us up by ~20,000 legitimate votes).

Did someone contact college colors? I remember someone tweeting outrage that ESPN pulled the scholarship and was only offering the shopping spree when we were ahead, then mentioned that college colors said that they were still funding the scholarship. I think just to be safe, those who wrote ESPN, should also contact college colors... More likely to get a response/ more likely that something will actually happen...

That's because the person who made the outrage tweet/post didn't think things through. The $10,000 award goes to the winning college. The shopping spree goes to a randomly picked individual voter. Those are two different prizes being given away in the same contest. One didn't replace the other.
