As much as I'd like to be excited about these kinds of things, I have to treat them the same as the "UM bought a house in Columbus" rumors. No offense to Judge, I just can't buy them until he's named as our HC.

Just saw that too. No idea what to believe anymore with any of this going on. I know I'm beating a dead horse with this, but PLEASE just clean house and start over. Just start over. It will be better if they clean house and start over. Hopefully with UM.

Until his name is on the NLI and it is announced that he is taking over at PSU, I won't get hopes up. OSU fan will say this was orchestrated by Urban all along as leverage and he will commute from Boalsburg to Columbus every day.

Until I see a copy of the real estate transaction, as well as UM's contract he signed on PSU letter head, I can't buy it.
I thank the OP for passing this along, so my BS is not directed that way...

my other thought is this, though. UM got out of Florida because of the stress and pressure and what nots from living the SEC lifestyle. Does anyone really REALLY think he wants to walk into this mess now??....

you know what..........
For the longest time I was ADAMANTLY against Urban Meyer coming to PSU because he will always be connected at the hip with Florida and it just wouldn't feel right....among many other reasons.
But with all this depressing news, and after reading that story about Noah Spence....
I would welcome him with open arms.

I find that whole argument amusing. What leverage does UM need to get the OSU gig? They'd give him $7 million/yr right now...PSU or no PSU interest. Those clever OSU guys...

Yep, Urban Meyer has all the leverage he needs. Luke Fickell as head coach = leverage for Urban Meyer.

I don't think Fickell is a terrible head coach at all. He was put into one of the crappiest positions. That team has improved every week, sans the IU game. They seem to like to play for him.

Can say the same thing in regards to the Penn State job. Close friends and people in the know believe the PSU job is what he wants. The other posters comments where all about OSU arrogance.

So, we need to believe you because your sources say he wants the OSU job, but there has been alot of conflicting reports and we have similar information saying PSU is his preferred choice. Anytime we bring it up, we are laughed at and discounted because our sources are very false, but yet, we have to believe your sources because Nevada Fraud and HotMic said he is nothing but a Buckeye? Let's see what transpires before assuming he is a Buckeye.
