The chances are slim that a kid who once verballed to XXX school before decommitting comes back in the fold.

This kid is looking for a reason to go to Oregon. Gut feeling ... he visits Oregon and jumps on board before leaving Eugene on his visit. The only way he doesn't end up there is because they fill up at LB and close on the LBs ahead of him in the pecking order.

He has an offer.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Zayd really wants to play for Oregon, his entire family lives there except for his mom and step dad. His step dad is sick and he is very close to him, that is why he is on the fence.

i know, was talking about when we were ecruiting him. He didnt at the time, and he does now. He will visit there and likely commit.

We need to recruit kids that are able to see the big picture of what Penn St has to offer. Obviously you will be missing out on a few bowl games, but if you come to Penn St, you will still play in front of close to 100,000 fans at home, be on TV every week, get incredible coaching w/an eye toward the next level, and most importantly graduate w/a great degree. As an added bonus a reduced roster likely means that playing time will come early and often.

If I was PSU I would put together a video presentation of highlights showing PSU Linebackers coached by Vandy making plays in school and then in the NFL. Show him Shaw, Poz, Conner, Hull, Lee, Bowman, Stupar and then finish with highlights with Mauti and Hodges. At the end of the of the clips I would have it read all in caps "COULD YOU BE NEXT?" I'd turn the lights on look him dead in the eye and say we believe you can.
