Zaire and Foster

Dont think Zaire has any interest in PSU.

That's OK. We need/want a pro style QB for our offense anyhow.

ask joe hamilton if he fit in BOB's system

Joe Hamilton wasn't in BOB's system. Joe was under Friedgen's control as he was the QB/OC coach at Tech. BOB was the RB coach at that time.

BOB's system probably has changed a bit in time. Take away the names a bit, but there is a drastic style difference between Hamilton and Brady.

Is Zaire a QB we would actually be interested in?

I agree about interest? I think the jury is still out on this kid and I think I would much rather see a pro style offense versus a spread. I like the idea of Belton and Drake in the wildcat to mix things up. The teams that are talked about in the top 5 picture every year are generally pro style offenses. These are the offenses that seem to be able to repeat year after year by just plugging the next guy into the system. I know people will bring up Florida's offense under Tebow and that was one special offense, but after Tebow Florida really didn't have the personnel to run the offense. Pete and Nick run an offense that can repeat year after year.

another problem with man coverage is that you MUST get those CBs who can play it but there really aren't many of them and everybody wants them. And since there are a lot of factors which go into a kid's decision, the defensive scheme can actually be way down on the list of priorities -- he could go somewhere else because there's a Chick-fil-A nearby or something else equally important to him.

    Yep, agreed.

We don't have the personnel, depth, or pass rush to run a predominantly man cover scheme. A HS coach could see that, so it's doubtful Roof doesn't.
