Current-
Offense: Stephfon Green (I think the natural choice would have been to go with Silas, as he is an incredibly hard worker & pretty much carried our entire offense this year, but Stephfon really showed something this year. Even though he was in Joe's "doghouse" towards the beginning and he certainly made some mistakes, Stephfon kept his nose to the grindstone and overcame. His run against OSU this year was worth more than just 39 yards and 6 points, it was him showing everyone that he's not going to just fade into the record books and that he wanted to make an impact by leading the way for PSU's 3rd victory in Columbus since 1978 (and on OSU's Senior Day I might add!). When the team was down from all the negativity surrounding the program he essentially put it upon himself to make a difference, sending the message that "regardless of what defense you line up in, I'm going to score on this play and there's nothing you can do to stop me"... pure determination to make an impact.)
Defense: Devon Still... guy was simply a beast this year... he went on a Holy crusade against offenses and his game against Nebraska was just awe inspiring... when everyone was looking to the Linebackers (which is natural to do when your school is called Linebacker U), the defensive line spear headed by Still were in fact the ones who lead the charge against all things named Scheelhaase or Burkhead (and even manage to put a licking on Alabama's Trent Richardson)"Oldies" (keep in mind I am a current student at University Park, so the term oldies for me refers to like the '90s)
Offense: Derrick Williams- electric player who directly contributed to bringing PSU out of the "dark ages" of the early 2000s... being the only player under Paterno to ever to score a touchdown on a catch, a run, and kick return in 1 game is a testament to the type of game-changer he wasDefense: Lavar Arrington- The Lavar Leap... 'nough said. I mean, the guy was like the Hannibal Lecter of all linebackers at PSU- no one across the line of scrimmage wanted to mess with him or even look his way because he just straight up ate people. If I were going into a dark, troublesome alley at night and I could only chose one person as a fellow "Bro" to take with me, without blinking I would choose Lavar
P.S. -Yes, this is my first ever post (I have been "lurking in the shadows for info" for about a month or two, but my excitement & desire to contribute a knowledgable PSU football conversation just exploded at about 3 am this morning)

Current Roster
Offense: Zordich - from all accounts, a Great team leader; I wonder if we are going to use him like the Pats used Heath Evans. (I know BOB was on the staff when Heath Evans did pretty well catching the ball out of the backfield and rushing out of a single back formation)
Defense: Amos - If he stays at CB, I love CBs with long arms that can press and run. I think Amos has that skill set.
----
HistoryOffense: Ki-Jana Carter - the 94 yard run against Oregon is one of my first PSU memories. I loved that entire team, but Carter was just a stud.
Defense: Cameron Wake - (there a bunch of guys this one is personal) (I was a freshman/sophmore during the dark-ages) I remember Derek playing his heart out and being the last guy off the field, because most of the time he would stop to thank the student section. I made my friends wait until Derek left the field before we could leave.

This is only my second year following the team, so I don't have much history to go off of other than clips of old games that I've seen or games on ESPN Classic.
Current: Silas, with MooMoo second. I'd go with Fortt on defense, he will be a stud.
All-time: Curt Warner and Lavar.(For anybody who follows CFB outside of Happy Valley)
OU: Quentin Griffin and Teddy Lehman. Beasts. Roy Williams is a close second.Roaringlion ●
