channeling my best Phil....."In my 31 years covering Penn State Football beginning with G & W Recruiting Report and now Blue White Illustrated I have developed hundreds of contacts and cultivated numerous relationships with staff at Penn State. I can honestly say that all my contacts consistently tell me that this team is in the best physical shape of any in the history of the program. I have been informed that not less than three offensive lineman are now benching 600lbs. Additionally, I have heard from sources that Jordan Hill was able to drag an Audi Quattro the length of a football field with Eric Shrive on his back. I've been told that no less than nineteen players are so fit and physically mature that that NFL scouts feel they will be drafted in the first round based soley on their conditioning. There is no doubt this team will be the strongest in the Big Ten and will compete for a National Championship."

MESSAGE FROM BWI PUBLISHER PHIL GROSZ!
BWI has been unable to confirm the internet rumor that redshirt sophomore lineman Ty Howle (6'6, 295) of Bunn, NC has run a sub 4.6 40 yd dash. Sources have indicated to BWI that Howle has been having a wonderful winter workout session and is in the best shape of his Penn State career. He has added 8 inches and 30 lbs of muscle to his frame while maintaining his legitimate 5.50 speed. However, in my 31 years of covering PSU football, I have never heard Joe Paterno say that a lineman has run such a fast 40 time before. When BWI receives any confirmation from its sources, it will be immediately reported by Nate Bauer on twitter. Two hours later, I will post it here in the Den.

They have experiment with a formation that included 5 receivers, 4 running backs, 1 center, 3 tight ends, and 1 quarterback. This is the type of offensive scheme that I have been waiting to see from penn state given that this is the most talent I have scene on this side of the ball in over 25 years.
