What will the mob call for next? How about ripping Joe's name of the library, taking out all the books about Joe, and burning them on Old Main lawn? A good old fashioned book burning is the best way to erase history and appease the great unwashed of society. Hopefully Erickson stands firm on his statement about the library.

Joe was on the wrong side of history and is getting crushed for it. Sucks for his family but this isn't something you can get wrong... When you mess this up you lose everything. He either pushed the buck or turned a blind eye. The truth is somewhere in the middle. Which makes removing his statue the only option.

How about this: take his name off the Library, return every cent he and Sue ever raised for or donated to PSU to the family with interest, melt all Peachy Paterno ice cream, revoke Sue's pool pass and finally chase every last Paterno out of State College with a pitchforks and torches. That should do the trick.
