What position will Bill Belton play??

I like him as a utility guy. Slot/RB/WildLion. Either way he needs to and should get more touches. He was probably the most underutilized guy on our offense last season.

Yeah, it would be easier to say where he won't play IMO....O-line.

  • Percy Was a much different kind of player. All speed. I think drake is a better comparison to Percy.

Is Drake as fast as Harvin?

  • Belton is just a player maker.. No set position in a game plan Offense..He'll do what ever the game plan calls for that week. Will be hard for the D to game plan for IMO.

Honestly, I don't think there is a guy on the current roster that compares favorably to Harvin. If we are talking in the recent past, DWill is the guy that we've had that compares the closest based on athletic ability, speed and overall game.

  • I didn't mean to compare him directly to Harvin as a player...I meant to say that he could have a role similar to the sort of hybrid role that Harvin had, to get the ball in his hands. Since he's bigger, I'd like to see him line up as a wildcat QB or classic RB a little more and go deep a little less, but the point remains that he could be used effectively without having to fit neatly into a RB or WR designation.

    This.

Harvin was one of those once or twice every few years kind of players. I saw him play at the 2008 BCS game against OU, and he was easily the most athletic guy on the field. IMO he was the thing that made the offense go, and was the reason they won that day (besides the goal line stands in the first half).
