How can there not be a moment of silence for JoePa at the game? He has done more for the university than the entire board put together. I know a lot of you will disagree with me, but the lack of respect for Joe was more upsetting to me than the loss to ohio. The bot/erickson should be ashamed of themselves.

Of course I was at the game.
I don't know the exact words, but the announcer spoke for a good 20-25 seconds before the moment of silence.
One line was something like "we have all lost something over the past months"...
They didn't specifically say Joe's name...but like I said they definitely left it open to interpretation in my opinion...probably deliberately.

Oh well nevermind my original post then. Thank you erickson/bot for the touching tribute to Joe without even mentioning his name. What a classy thing to do, have a moment of silence for anyone or anything in the world. My grandma died in february, I'm glad they were kind enough to have a moment of silence for her.

I'm not saying you are wrong but what exactly did you expect to happen?!?! We all know what Joe has done for this school and having a public acknowledgment of that will do nothing more than piss people off. The school is trying to move on and I think it's time we come to grips with that.
