Yes weather will be a factor in the turnout. I myself was planning on being there at 8:00 and having about 30 people tailgating with me. Since the weather has been predicted to be rainy, everyone has cancelled and my son and I are just going over about noon to go to the game. I have a feeling this will be typical. Its a shame the recruits won't get to see 60K people in the stands.

Stinks. Wish the weather would cooperate for once; it didn't last year either.

Honestly, I'm not sure it will have a huge effect on more local kids (David Williams, Dorian Johnson, etc.).

Maybe Joe will send us another miracle tomorrow.

bingo, the one good thing is that the recruits will have the commits in their ears...i'm sure they realize with the rain that kills the attendance.

I'm heading up regardless of the weather. My buddy and I are looking forward to seeing what the new staff has in store for the program. Plus, it's always nice to do some shopping and visit the creamery.

I will be there, rain, shine, snow, hurricane, earthquake, avalanche, or if Mt. Nittany turned out to be a dormant volcano that somehow erupted tomorrow... I'll still be there

It's not like it's supposed to be cold either. I've seen high 50s to mid 60s around game time.

Not that easy when your partyy includes an 84 year old and a one year old and a 4 year old . Oh well

Don't have the 84 year old, but the boys are 2 and 5. We just arrived in state college.

Everyone should come anyway! Rain never slows anyone up during the regular season! New staff, show support! Plus, I am willing to bet my bottom dollar that Penn State will win
