"The sophomore, which will have three years to play two at the next level".
I apologize that I'm not familiar with the JUCO transfer rules, but what does this mean? How many years of eligibility would he have at PSU?

He is a JR, who did not use his RS. So he has three years to play 2 seasons. When you are a true freshman, you technically have 5 years to play 4... So, he is a JR. He can play 2 seasons.

Two years of eligibility at PSU. He could take a redshirt, thus potentially be on the team for three years. Redshirt is unlikely however.

He has three years at PSU to play two years. Like a freshman that comes into PSU has five years to play four.
