So are we looking past any potential issues we think may exist and we really want him now or is this just token contact in case no one else comes calling at RB?

The word I'm getting is that PSU is still not back 'on' him. If you'll notice in the article, he's just had contact through e-mail, he hasn't talked to a coach personally, and he would like to set up a visit for the Michigan game, not that he has set it up. He's fishing for interest and right now I'm not seeing it being reciprocated.

Sean do you think we just scratch getting a RB this year and focus on Shell, Garmon, Peoples and Harris next year.
I guess I should warn you, if I turn out to be particularly clear, you've probably misunderstood what I've said.

With the issues, the word I got was that Penn State was aware of his past off the field issues, which caused them to hold off for a while. They believed he had moved past those issues and extended the offer. A few weeks later, they found out that he hadn't quite turned that corner, and here we are.
