I have a good feeling that we will keep recruiting this RS and will eventually land him. Same thing with Mikey M, but not as confident that he will end up coming home

y r u happy he didn't come here, he is clearly a good player and fits our system. I hate you guys who after a guy commits somewhere else always make excuses. He is a good player and I personaly wish we got him.

I am NOT the one making excuses. I was devastated last night and went through my own process. Just when I am coming to grips with the possibility, 3 press releases come out... Yet he asked Sean and other media members to keep quiet so that he can have the big presser and the 3 hat ceremony? I am not mad about his choice. Its HOW he is going about revealing it. 3 articles have been released with him talking about where he is going to school. Yet he is having a giant press conference at his school? And tweeting that he will make his decision tomorrw? LOL give me a break. Very Stephon Diggs and Devonte Neal esque. Not much maturity about the process... And the Neal/Kiel comparisons are justified. He was ready to early enroll at PSU... Mom and coach said hold up... Now he is at UNC- a complete mess of a program right now. Good luck to him. But he is def letting his parents call the shots... I will steer clear of kids with huge heads like this. I didn't know he was like this. Now that I know- good riddance.

Edit: and mark my words that Keil and MAYBE Neal may transfer by the end of their careers lol Trouble with those two- and they aren't worth it... Keils new OC is a spread option guy lol great fit. Oh and so is Fedora's new OC. Should be interesting to watch all 3 take shape... But seriously... Want to be done talking about this kid... Unless we start calling him "The Waterboy". Classic opportunity here lol

Agreed. But AB and Hack can be very persuasive... This was a special circumstance where parents and a HS coach stepped in... If there is no parental intervention (a la Devonte Neal and Gunner Keil), he is a Nittany Lion... AB and Hack can persuade kids. We have to let them do that... Boyd is in the middle of more bball (again, ridiculous athlete) and 7 on 7 and camps... Hasn't really made too many moves in his recruitment yet. Perfect time for AB and Hack to pounce... Just sayin.

One thing we know for a fact, and this is not bashing the kid because this is actually true, he loves attention. He was on Twitter the past couple months trolling for more followers from PSU fans and getting AB to get him more followers. Funny thing is he lost about 100 followers since we found out he is going to UNC. I expect that to drop a lot further from Nittany Nation (his exposure is already getting low, as UNC football is hardly on TV/National TV as PSU).

And then there was him jealous of AB's press conference and saying things like I cant wait for my moment in the spotlight or something similar. Which leads to...
Now he wants to hold a Lebron James style press-conference. To each his own. I am still a big fan of his football athleticism and think he will have a pretty good CFB career (highly doubtful he gets to the NFL playing the A-Back in Fedora's offense). Hes a young kid with a bright future.
