Does this have something to do with debacle over at FOS switching its interface?

Anybody else unhappy about this? I understand the concept, but they're giving away one-third of the year essentially... including the second half of the football season into the bowl season.
Not gonna lie, I'm a bit pissed. I could see giving even a month away... but really almost three months of prime time?

Cue the commercial where the new boy shows up in class and gets the cool art set because he's new.

But seriously, blood is in the water and here come the sharks, that's business go for it, but there's a downside here too that I hope you considered. There is a lot of dead weight at the supposed target board that I would rather not see come over and can do more damage than good. If you make it worse by giving free access to a lot of internet bullies, you just might end up more like the target than you want, and may either lose the culture you have now and/or some paying customers. So I hope you considered the length of this offer and the potential risk.

Come on guys - new site doing what it can to gain market share.

Also, the deal may not have been exactly the same but I remember very similiar deals in the past. No biggie.

As far as trolls go I'm sure they'll be banned as soon as they pop up.

can i cancel my membership and get the free stuff, then ill switch back when promotion over?
