Other changes I like just as little as I did when it was first brought up. Not a fan of the changes in this area.

I found it to be a vast generalization fitting very very very very few actual people and one of the least logical of posts in this thread. Odd.

I want some changes, am ok with others, and hate this one. I am not alone in not fitting said above generalization methinks.

So does the tagline of this board need to change? "Black shoes, basic blues. No names, all game"

geez. the players and BOB talked about this and agreed to it. and some people criticize that decision? criticizing the men who are taking on this monumental task? ok.

cool. need to start branding a whole new image. just one small step in that direction.

Think about this Seltz:
With all the recent stuff going on in the program, do we really need to find another reason for dissension? Now more than ever, this is the time we need to unite together as a family. If our new HC, and current player want this change, then we should all stand behind it proudly, and accept it. This is why I said my response to the poster above. He, like many of us on here, get it, and realize the university and football team means a lot more than material things(like uniforms changes). We will always be Penn State; names on the jerseys or not.

Agreed. Do not like the names one bit. Idea, great.....execution...no way.

I'd be good with names on for like opening day and make it known it was done that day to recognize all those players who stuck. But after that, back to normal. I don't want to become like every other team, despite what others want us to do.

There are so many more important things to change as well. Think about it. We are still Penn State if we leave the jerseys alone as well.

No uniform change makes me root for the team more or less. Will assure I wont by jerseys anymore, but that doesnt hurt the players unless we keep heading towards a transition to semi pro for the sport.
