I'd guess WR. Looking at their list of commits and targets and they currently have two DB's (one S and one CB - Cravens and Hawkins), plus Sebastian LaRue, who they reportedly recruited as a DB. Then they're getting a lot of interest from Priest Willis, Tahaan Goodman, Cole Luke and Max Redfield.
I've heard that the number for USC is 15, but looking at the commit list and everything, I think it's higher. They currently have no OL committed.
To summarize - I don't think Boyd will get an offer. But I guess you never know. USC does reportedly want one more WR and he could fit that.

They work the restricted numbers though, the restricted numbers is just until national signing day. After regular recruiting, they have an allowance (each team does) for three late signees that they can grant scholarships too that will count against next year's numbers, but not this years. And then, they are granted one more signing after May that also counts against the next year's numbers for scholarships. Little tricks they use to work against the system, and they also promise preferred walk ons scholarships by their second semester, which count against the next year's count, but it evens out, because guys will drop off that scholarship after the season that are going pro. Gotta love the mathematics formula that Orgeron has figured out over there. In the end, they'll end up signing around 22 prospects.

Vidal Hazelton's daddy was an issue, and Brod left to be closer to a sick relative - dying grandfather.
I've spoken to Brod directly (and Jarvis Jones), and they still has a lot of love for USC, and we for them. Will always wish him, Kyle Prater and Jarvis Jones all the luck in the world.
Once a Trojan, always a Trojan.
Best of luck to PSU and the fans, hold your head up and stay strong. Those of us who value fairness know that a few do not represent the whole...one positive is you will find that adversity will only make an already strong university network even stronger. We know this first hand.
Fight On! and good luck with Mr. Boyd..

Those "sanctions" really hurt USC recruiting.

USC & Tyler Boyd...
