Anyone see the haul Cal got in the form of verbals at the All-Army Game? Jordan Payton, Shaq Thompson and Ellis McCarthy. That is a significant trio.

I have always said no one gets less out of more than Tedford. Nevertheless impressive.

Stanford got a great one not only in talent but name alone, in Barry Sanders Jr. Seems just as classy and humble as his father was.

I really didn't follow his recruitment but was surprised he selected them over Oklahoma State. I just figured he would end up going to his Dad's Alma mater.

Yeah, that was a little surprising, maybe the kid wants to create his own legacy. By not attending his fathers alma mater, although being the son of one of the best to ever lace em up. The comparisons wont be ignored his fathers name will be brought up everytime he plays

I know Stanford football is on a little late for us on the east coast, but from what I have seen their gameplan is already focused on running. They run a lot out of power sets. I think I saw the stat that 45% or some absurdly high amount of their plays from scrimmage were rushing plays.
Although since teams have to be aware of Luck at all times, I have no doubt it makes running a little easier.

Crazy good class for Cal again this year. Agreed with a post above though, let's see them actually have at least a 10+ win season now or something.

How can I forget that masterful effort in the Orange by Dabo's boys. I keep forgetting about Clemson. Yes, he fits the bill - along with every other Clemson coach.
