Do we know how long he has had this visit scheduled? You don't wake up one morning jump on a plane and fly to LA just random.

the whole "visit" to PSU sounded good to say while he was in Atlanta with Hack..that's all it really was..TALK..he knew he was heading to LA and maybe it was a situation where he didn't want the media to know his intentions..he went to Ohio State prior to the Rivals Challenge and USC afterwards..very likely PSU may be his plan B

Are there any confirmation reports that Boyd is in Cal. or not? If so I agree with other poster this just didn't happen over night, was planned but kid has a right
to take other visits. Is Boyd invited to the Opening, I would've thought Cal. trip would have been than while on west coast with the Opening invite.

Sean's free content is excellent and some of the discussions can be very engaging. I don't think opinions on free content can veil sensitive inside information. FOS' Audibles board is lively and not premium content driven. Oh yeah my opinion on the OP is that it would be great to land Boyd. I wonder how many VIP posts differ from that train of thought?

It isn't your post that bothers me. Heck I enjoyed reading it and would liked to have heard all responses. However some responses to what is CLEARLY not "insider" information default to VIP, making the discussion disjointed.
I'm arguing that there needs to be a default mechanism where non-VIP, proprietary info of 24/7 is completely open, just as VIP posts are completely closed to non-VIP users. If some OPs can be completely closed to non subscribers, it stands to reason that some OPs can be completely open. I think we are on the same page BlueBlood.

It does not need to clear inside info. That is not the standard for VIP. It may be sensitive discussion or discussion you do not want the general public seeing or sometimes there is o reason except the VIP poster wants to which is fine as well

Well, until Boyd shows up we might as well consider him a long shot. To be honest though, I doubt USC offers him.

I mean he said he pulled a groin and then played basketball with friends... Now he's at USC... Not feeling too high or too low with him... We have a shot, but there is work to do. We need to get him on campus.

If he visits us, we have as good a shot as anyone. At least now, we have someone in his ear at all times, and that player is someone who can directly impact is potential future production at PSU.....................................gotta like this.
