  • Y'all haven't heard? None of these kids are gonna show, so don't get your hopes up. And definitely don't be encouraged by the list of visitors that the staff has put together.

  • Damnit. I hope everyone still makes it. Winter weather sucks... At least most of the guys that are supposed to come are from the NE...

  • I think it might spur a few kids from not showing, but I still see the majority making it. NE kids aren't scared of a little weather.

  • I think Friday night visitors it may affect but the drizzle Saturday is supposed to stop by 8. What time does junior day go from on Saturday?

  • Ohio kids should be fine, if they are driving in after noon or so today.

I think the brunt of the weather we are supposed to get is coming from the west and will be here right in prime driving time Friday afternoon/evening. So kids coming from the west could have trouble. Traveling east to west shouldn't really be a problem Friday but saturday morning is a different story. Patches of mix/snow/rain in the east saturday morning. And I'm blackshoes with your lions247.com weather report...

yea - but supposed to get up to 40 and only drizzling ran from early saturday morning 7 - 8 am so i think majority of kids will be alright...might be delayed and a few kids not make it.

The storm is moving pretty quickly, I don't know what it will do once it hits WV and PA, but right now its already mostly ( a few clouds) through Columbus on to Cleveland in the north and already east of Zanesville in the south. I70 should be in the 40s by mid-day, but the the evening should get a little messy.

If you're interested hit the futurecast tab, play and wait for it to load and you can see the weather for the next about 48 hours. Also you can hit on the play bar and see still shots hour by hour.

correct me if i'm wrong, but doesnt everyone within driving distance (5-6 hours) usually just drive in for junior day the day of and then leave the day of since they are responsible for footing the bill?

Yeah that is worse than it looks here. It seems like some of that stuff is coming from the southwest that completely missed us.

I told you that kids were not going to make it for one reason or another.
