Emmert is probably calling them personally begging them to transfer. He's probably next going to pay for their gas and moving allowances personally.

This is the sanction that makes me most upset of them all... throw out the no contact rules, throw out the rule book for all other teams. Hypocrisy at its finest...

Thus far, Emmerts plan isn't working so he'll keep twisting the rules until it does.

To me, these transfer rules PERFECTLY ILLUSTRATE HOW MUCH ERICKSON GOT TRAMPLED. It's BAD ENOUGH that he signed off on the bowl crap and overall scholarship reduction, but the little BS technicalities just might speak loudest. This shows just how out of touch and clueless he was with all of this. This is no small thing. Signing off on this could be a 500M decision for PSU and then think about all the other locals that suffer. I honestly couldn't be more confused at what went through his tiny skull.

Also, day 9 plans if all else fails is to mandate 15 guys have to leave just cuz. He would make it a team vote, but that wouldnt make him King Dong, so he will just come up with the names himself. "now lets see, who could possibly be awards candidates this year...."

So this is an absolutely serious question. If he's changing the punishment as he goes now...what's to stop him from doing the same thing 4 years from now? He decides that a four year bowl ban wasn't punishment enough, bans us for a few more years and lets the players transfer out again.

This is ridiculous. I'm absolutely with the few logical people who say that other institutions should be afraid of the power Emmert is wielding.

KEY NOTE: I know some people are being sarcastic but I think some are actually confused. I highly doubt he is actually changing the rules. What I meant by "worse" is that we are just now learning the details. We were informed of very little from the start in regard to transfer details. I doubt anything was actually changed. Realize that if he changed anything Erickson's signature would no longer mean anything. PSU would be free to appeal and sue if there was a change, and PSU would clearly win.
