The one good thing about today IMO is that the waiting game is over. I have been dreading this day since November. Honestly, I have taken this a lot better than I thought I would. Why? Because it's over. The speculation can stop, and the rebuilding can begin.
The punishment is bad, and we may be looking at some sub-par football the next few years. But you know what? There will be football. We will still get to watch our boys on Saturdays in the fall. We will still be able to tailgate. People will still be chanting We Are Penn State.
Our top recruit is still committed to PSU, BOB is still our coach, and our school spirit will never go away. Cheer up my fellow Penn Staters.
We Are!

dont mean to be a debbie downer but what comes after the sanctions is alot worse. Watching your team struggle for years is bad. The worst is coming. Just from my experience from the sanctions we went through. Trust me i am die hard and it tested my patience and love for my team.

Things will get better. Don't give up on the program like some are. You will struggle and it will be rough for probably many years. The good news is you have a good coach and a solid fan base. I enjoyed our home and home with y'all and I think your fan base has some of the classiest fans. Just take it from a BAMA fan you have to stay strong. My family kept our season tickets even though we were terrible, but you still get to tailgate and watch football on Saturday...it's not so bad! Keep your head up!

One of the best ways to stick it to the NCAA would be to show up to games in force. The culture of students liking Penn State football was the never the problem. Money and a power were; two things the NCAA knows a lot about.
Think I'm going to watch this movie on Netflix tonight:
"I believe in what Coach Paterno set forth.”- Garrett Sickels "A bowl game ain't nothing but a vacation."- Gerald Hodges
