The BTN Maryland PC is entertaining ... except ...

  • That the weasel Delaney is there. I really like the way their president, LOH, handles his questions. Very direct and to the point. This is for the long term financial interest of the school and its athletic programs. And he said "you can get in front of an issue and lead the way, or let it happen and be forced to make moves". Not an exact quote, but that was the context.

Maybe he can help our BOT.

All in all, a very positive vibe from the MD side, even though the issues of lost tradition, buyout, and angry alums were around.

  • This Loh character was pretty fun to listen to it. Much better than Erickson.

Glad someone else is watching it too. The press questions are repetitive.

Loh will grow to dislike Delany too.

  • I like the Loh guy too, until the questions I lost some respect (but thought about our situation and retracted that though)...Did you see him roll his eyes a few times from the questions from the media and when he was done answering his question pretty much like drop the mic like he was walking off the stage pissed.

Definitely better than any of our "leaders" at PSU, that is for sure. We need a guy like that.

You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game, life or football-the margin for error is so small. -Pacino

  • Loh would be a major upgrade. I've had the opportunity to work with him a good deal and he's very impressive - comes with some crazy academic credentials, not afraid to mix it up, knows what it takes to run a research institution, has an eye for the future, etc. He'd be a great fit at PSU, IMO

Did he push for faculty tenure to include commercialization efforts in the process?
