Yep. I get that. We are coming up. We just arent there yet. Hopefully this is the story of the tortoise and the hare. We have some catching up to do, but BOB and his staff are going to bust their asses. And I am in love with them right now.

I think it's respectful too. And I am all for Switz wanting his mom to see it. Not singling this thread to Switz and whats going on there. But people are acting like this is over. It's not. FSU will try their hardest to get him and so will others, he is a top recruit. Getting early commits snowballs and builds momentum. We are not there yet. We have to give BOB time. He will get there. But our rivals certainly are. People do not like to hear that. We have some catching up to do, but we also have a staff well equipped to do it. I am hopeful, yet kinda sad because of what OSU and Mich are doing... People are saying that the sadness is over-reacting, but I don't agree... We have some catching up to do. That is reality. ESPN is shock media... We will get no sanctions, BOB and almost all of this staff is entirely new and had nothing to do with the scandal AT ALL. And half of what they reported was simply not factual... I am sure BOB can make parents understand this. But again, this will take time. But the reality is that we are behind and time is ticking. I have faith in my coach and know we will be fine. The present situation is still tough though. Patience is a virtue. And we all have to be patient. I will agree with most of the posters on this thread about that. Patience.

I said in the above post, I am not isolating this to him... Did you read what I said or was it unclear (serious question). I am talking about recruiting in general. Not him in particular. I said I appreciate and respect him wanting his mom there. i would want mine there.

Yeah, momentum on the trail is a crazy thing... Here's hoping we get some over the next few weeks...

woahh.. rmj147 n philafan.. chill out guys.. i understand where u guys r commin from.. n it kills me to see OSU killin it on the recruiting trail.. michigan too, but not as much as OSU.. but remember urban liar heads osu now.. he can get whoever n whenever he wants them.. he jus seems to have his way wid high school kids (who cant c thru his lies).. but the 2013 recruiting cycle has jus started.. yea so a couple of schools r ahead of us.. no biggie.. BOB n crew jus came here.. give them some time n all to build a good/healthy n long lasting relationship wid them n that domino effect will start happenin to us too.. u said it urself, patience is the key here.. we will b fine.. relax.. n take a deep breath.. : )

Guy's remember when so called hard verbals, left us, Cam etc.. how everyone turned on them These kids are just high school kids under enormous pressure to committ verbally that really doesn't mean squat We have a long time till Feb., it makes for great posting and excitment on boards but till signing day everything is speculation. With that said, I think BO'B and coaches are doing great job of getting PSU name back on the map for the right reasons.

Relax. I actually admire Ryan's decision. He is respecting his family and taking his time with this process. Big decisions should take time and be thought through. I'd rather have more thinking done before commitment than after commitment..

Kid may very well end up @ PSU, but IMO it wont be anytime soon. He is enjoying the recruiting process way too much at this point for him to end it this early. There is a reason WVU has slowed played him and withheld their offer for so long.
