Heck of an athlete with all the tools needed to be a great OLB.
Coach Vanderlinden is exactly what this kid needs to be great. Brush up on that tackling and nuances of being an OLB and he can be playing on Sundays.

I can't begin to say how pumped I am about this commit in particular. Since Roof was hired, I have been trying to watch as much of his defensive scheme that I can. IMO, it is this type of kid that takes TR's style of D from adequate to scary good. Having that backer that can cover a slot well when asked is that final brushstroke to the masterpiece. It is what gives you that last 1/4 of a second to get to the QB and what really takes the pressure off your db's. This is when your blitz scheme is able to confuse QB's. Rolling coverage and blitzing a cb now becomes a legitimate weapon not a high risk gamble. Just really expands your options as a DC. If we can get some high quality S's in here(I think we will get the cb's), this puzzle will be taking shape quite nicely.

Lately it seems every time I return from a sales call, we have a new commitment. They like me to be out of the office, and this might be another reason to if it continues! I feel like we were relatively late to the party on this one, and still got him. Another great sign for this new staff.

love seeing this the first time i get on in the morining! I am a Bradshaw fan because he's so athletic and Vandy will just coach him up after Fitz puts some big weight on this guy.
