Stoops is a good coach, and would be a solid hire. But his teams have faded in recent yrs during the season. And can't forget about the troubles they had in BCS games recently.

Considering the writer didn't' even know what position Pollard plays, and had to be told, I don't think I am going to take anything he wrote seriously.

Who cares if his teams have struggled in BCS games lately, the point is that they were there. OU has been in a BCS game pretty consistently. That's better than PSU's track record over the past 10 years. And there's even been a national championship game every once in a while which PSU hasn't appeared in yet. If he were to just replicate his record from OU at PSU, I'd be happy. A BCS game every year with a national championship opportunity every few years is a step up from what PSU has done recently. I'd take that.

Bob's brother Mike just agreed to come to Oklahoma and become the co-defensive coordinator. I doubt it's Stoops.

Don't quote GCobb.com. I was asked to write for that site by Garry Cobb. (I accepted, it gives me something fun to get my mind off of school) But in general, it's just people writing whatever they feel like. I guess I'm in the minority who wouldn't write absolute made up crap on that site though. I've only put out informational pieces cause I would never make up a story and then run with it.
