I bet MattyZ has a breakout redshirt freshman year...he's like a hybrid between gronk and welker (at least that's what i hope he'll be anyways haha)

Except doesn't he weigh about 165? Too much depth at WR for him to get a chance this year IMO.

I can genuinely see us having the best lb corps in the NCAA this season. LBU is here to stay!

We have a lot of receivers, but is that really depth? Who's shown that they are real playmakers? Justin Brown has shown potential, but he hasn't been consistent yet. Devon Smith drops big plays every chance he gets. Curtis Drake is always getting into trouble and you never know if his leg will hold up. BMF and Kersey haven't done anything. Belton, Kuntz, and Robinson haven't done anything as receivers yet (although Belton has looked terrific when he's lined up at the wildcat QB).
Also, per the official roster from Penn States web site, Zanellato weighed 184 lbs. That's before redshirting this year and working out with Fitz. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he'll be like Gronk as a blocker or as quick and shifty as Welker. I was merely speculating what I hope he becomes.

This, although I think we see plenty of Glenn Carson at MLB, and Mike Hull may split with reps with Mauti early in the season until his knee is healed. Ditto for Baublitz splitting reps with Massaro.

IMO, they have to somehow get Mike Hull on the field. I know everyone will get a fresh start, but I have heard nothing but great things about him. Like you said, he can definitely contribute while Mauti is getting healthy. I hope we see a decrease in major injuries with Fitz2. We need Massaro and Mauti this year.

...and if you're not down with that, then I got 2 words for ya.."suck it!!"
