Staff, can get a year by year listing of players and commits...

  • that reflects 2012-2016? Would reflect the year, the name, the roster and the position, to show who *could* still be on the team each year assuming they a) stay committed/enrolled and b) stay their entire 4/5 years. Maybe a grid format? Been trying to work out what things look like each year from a position standpoint as things stand right now with current commits and reflecting the lost scholarships. This type of matrix would let us see the holes as guys leave and who might fill them. I would love to do this but sadly am already unproductive enough with work. Understand if it doesn't happen, wouldn't be particularly easy. But there's also a reason I'm not asking the guys at FOS or BWI for this - your performance raises expectations. biggrin

Couple of questions for anyone reading this - am I correct in believing that the sanctions start THIS year? So no bowl games this year through 2015? And what about the scholarships - does the 2016 class become MASSIVE because there are graduating seniors, juniors leaving early, plus 20 open scholarships to fill? Thanks guys.

It's really not useful to do all that work until after the transfer period has expired. Let's focus first on who's hanging around.

I think PSU is still hit with the 15 guys/year for the '16 season ('13-'16) and the 65 overall limit till '17.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Didn't say I wanted it tomorrow. ;-) Still think it would be very helpful over the next couple of years to keep track of things. Just a thought. Thanks.

No problem. Its definitely in the works. I know Pat and Co have been working on a unique scholarship roster feature for the 247 network. Hopefully, it arrives soon.

  • A scholarship roster is definitely on the list of features and is pretty high up, but got bumped by another feature we're hoping to release in the next few weeks.

To be fair, if you're any good with excel it isn't hard. Took me ten minutes or so to set one up, not only with a whole team tab but individual position groups. Along with it showing how many spots we have left. After that its just updating as kids commit and leave. And adjusting the equation(s) to fit the limits.
