Given the staff seeming to think that WR is a need, I wouldn't be too shocked to see DaeSean Hamilton play, but I think it would be best if he RS's.
I've been wondering if Williams might be moved to the slot. Would be a dangerous group of 4 top receivers if we had Robinson, Felder, Williams, and Lewis. The slot is a place I've wondered about. Personally, I thought Malik Golden would have looked great there, but the staff knows better than I do. I think Richy Anderson has a good skill set for the slot and could definitely see time there. Kenney...I hope he can contribute, but I don't feel like I can assume anything with him at this point.

So long as when it touches the ball, he also catches it. Routes were a problem, but so were his hands and his general receiving ability. I'd much rather get the ball in the hands of Belton in that role. Not as fast, but more of a game breaker with the ball in his hands. Belton will make people miss, Kenney will try to run past them.

Let's play the "who does he compare to" game. Not what type of career or success will a guy have, but who's the best comparable player based on size and skill sets.
I'll start with Geno Lewis. I think based on size and athleticism, he compares favorably to a young Anquan Boldin, who at FSU and early in his NFL career was a big-bodied slot-type, underneath routes kind of guy who was also a terrific athlete. Not a burner, but enough speed and athleticism to go with his better-than-average size and strong hands.

Geno Lewis: Brandon Lloyd. Same body type, stride, and acrobatic catch ability. Nearly identical actually, Robinson: Dez Bryant minus 12 pounds. Not timed 4.4 guys but always seem to get behind the defense and go up over defenders for the ball with ease and great body control. Both physical after the catch. Need to see more from Trevor Williams. Kenney: Name any NFL WR with great speed and not much else. DaeSean Hamilton: Gem says Crabtree. That would be fantastic. I see Patrick Crayton.

Interesting. You give Gene Lewis an in depth review despite the fact that you've never seen him play at this level, but you say you need to see more from Trevor Williams who saw PT in just about every game last year. That makes somewhere in the neighborhood of zero sense.
Just sayin.

Then you saw him play QB bro. Hasn't played WR since sophomore year. I guess that's where you're getting whole "athletic catch ability" comparison with Brandon Lloyd - from his sophomore year of high school. Hence me saying "you've never seen him play at this level." Guess you missed that part. But this isn't a reading comprehension lesson so I'll move on.
Your logic is flawed bud, if you don't see that then I can't help you. I expect a lot out of Lewis, but to give your analysis of him, and to say you need to see more out of Williams is a straight joke.
Just sayin
