As long as the weather is somewhat nice, I think we'll definitely break the 65k barrier. It would be nice to get close to 75k+ like Bama.

Pitt has a new HC too...you'd think they'd be interested to see where the program is going. I guess when your coaching turnover is like Pitt's, then it's not as energizing as it might be at PSU.
Pretty obvious to me that Pitt's job is a step above coordinator at a real major program. Just waiting for a better job to open up.

A few years back when the weather was nice they estimated 75k were there, which was the record.

Spring Games can definitely tell you the prestigiousness of schools. Wonder what Oregon pulled in attendance if they already played their spring game.

Must be Pitt had a feeling on attendance as to renting out a HS field. Could just had it a Wal-Mart parking lot.

Went over there to read about it, never post of course, and one of their posters have a thorough run down of the game. Listening to it, they're going to win the MNC this year. Oh and his first point was that he was really impressed by the crowd. Lol.
And our fans used to have in-fighting issues over being delusional and/or lowering expectations...

Pitt @ 4,000 + ? hahah why would anybody go there? I live in Pittsburgh, and ever since they took down the stadium up on the hill and Oakland the "college atmosphere" has been dead. Not to mention the pretty much weekly bomb threats the past few months. I'd bet anything those are related to the "Occupy Movement" group of losers. Bank it.

I am guessing it is less based on the picture and seeing the one side practically empty. Last year Pitt had a recorded attendance at its spring game of 1,500. I do not think they had 4607 yesterday and it was skewed (like almost every schools spring game attendance).
Spring game attendances can really show prestige of schools. Even with terrible weather, we will out attendance Pitt by at least 20,000.
