You have seen Denman go from PSU to Wisky to Rutgers ... You have seen Jordan Payton go from Cal to Washington to USC. Too many games being played right now by kids and coaches. There shouldn't be ANY contact by them after Sunday meaning no facebook posts, emails or anything.

Too many examples on why the NCAA needs an early signing period for football. They do it in basketball, so what's the problem? You put a NLI in front of these kids in October and if they balk at it after verballing to your program prior, you know where you stand and can immediately move on.

I'm fine with early signing if two things happen:
1) there's an out clause given to players who commit and a coach leaves. Don't give me the commit to the University line, obviously people don't understand the coach is a huge deal.
2) this waiver is given to seniors of schools in the same circumstance, a no penalty transfer.

Yeah I figured it was Neal or Diggs and not both. I think we all expected Dodson to flip on signing day as well. Wisco lost its top 2 OTs down the stretch which is unfortunate.
Meyer is a fantastic recruiter. Im actually happy we'll be in some SEC style recruiting wars now. Should make the S Zone updates awesomer (its a word dammit lol).

OSU will probably finish between 3rd and 5th depending on the site. Bama, Texas, FSU, UF, and OSU were dominant this yr. FL schools lucked out that USC had limited ships, because they were raiding FL.

Oh, you know that if they could get Diggs they would dump someone for him. Heck, they may even pull a Les Miles and wait until unlucky recruit starts moving into his room before they inform him that he is gone.

Diddy also thanks for getting the latest info in here all day, well so far. Obviously Sean has as well but he's been (obviously) forced to really cover the PSU stuff super close. This threads better than ESPN.

It has nothing to do with the school - its just how the recruiting game works. I'm not saying the kid/school is right or wrong. Essentially we are saying the same thing. Once a player verbally commits, it doesn't mean squat until he's signed on the dotted line.
I do think it's a little extreme for a coach to be hounding a kid when he's signing his letter for elsewhere though.....
