A year ago today I would have been happy with a top 26 class. A no name coach and a scandal? Shit. After the sanctions, I'm thrilled at 26 with the top heavy class we have.

I have a buddy, professional, well-educated, very successful 40 year old. Loves to be crass. When all this stuff broke it was constant Sandusky jokes. I went to lunch with him right after the Newtown shootings, and he was hungover. When we were leaving, he says, "I feel like a Connecticut kindergartner". Haven't talked to him since. There's just sh*t you don't joke about, unless you are a POS. Your "word"? Give me a break, man. Anyone who would ask you to post this isn't worthy of your respect, much less your obedience.

I have a roommate, funny, nice and semi-educated 20 year old. Loves to bet. Every time I make a bet with him and win he doesn't follow through, he's a douche. Sorry I'm not sorry.

My problem with it is how it so clearly illustrates the phony horror that so many people around the country had about this scandal. Far too many wanted our FB program and even university to shut down over it, yet have no problem continually making jokes and light of the situation when it suits them to get a laugh. As far as I know, an internet sig bet stake should be something that will cause slight embarrassment for the loser. Not something making light of an insidious crime.

Advertising Sandusky, a photo of the JP statue removed and letter from McQuery about honor is tasteless. He looks like a clown to everyone outside of Penn State that post on these boards and see his sig. There is no reason to play into the other fan bases buffoonery towards our university. It's called pride. Shavi has none, seems like you don't either.

To even make the bet in the first place lets you know what kind of an immature clown shavismo really is.
