    Don't you have anything better to do in SoCal than post on our board? There's got to be a house party or club open on Tuesdays. Just be careful when you step off campus, you don't want to get shot standing in line at In N' Out Burger.

    Again with the ignorance with that comparison.

    There is a HUGE difference between recruiting kids who can play ZERO football at the school they were at, as opposed to what we have. So no, there is no hypocrisy there.

    This guise of coming over with support, yet not coming over til today, is kinda comical and pretty transparent. I have no doubt many SC fans do indeed feel that way, maybe even yourself, however, the timing could not be worse. Just think about it, you have some intelligent fans out there.

    If you read my initial post above you will see I have no problems with Silas bolting to SC. That's on him. I do have a problem with idiots coming over here to troll.

  • Silas's choice to leave, is his choice. If I could wrap my mind around it rationally, I wouldn't disagree w/ a player's choice to transfer. I just don't like his decision to go to USC based on the offense. If he wanted to leave Penn State due to a number of things

    1) all Hell breaking loose in the past 1/2 year
    2) BO'B offense doesn't really suit him
    3) doesn't think the new offense will help him get to the pro's next year
    4) he wanted to do 4 years before going pro and while 1 year would be ok in the midst of all the problems at Penn State, 2 would be too hard for him to take
    5) *** most important to me - with the change in offense, there's another offense out there that could showcase his talents optimally to get him to his goal

    If I thought USC was the right place - I would at least 1/2 support his decision (like he cares about my opinion).... I personally think he would be able to showcase himself greatly at Penn State, grow in character, face some adversity, and learn what it is TRULY like to stay, be a leader, and learn about what it means to be a true team. No opportunity will present itself like this. This is taking the 'easier' road without question re: the stress involved and the challenge. But I don't think it will work out for him as well as he thinks.

    I would have chosen a school with a run-first offense. Not the Barkley for the #1 pick offense.
