    both PSU and USC have quality academic programs and different strengths. If I were an advertising major I'd move to Los Angeles and go to USC too. between that and the issues with your program right now it seems a logical decision

    UMMM ... the NCAA wouldn't have thrown you on probation if that were the case. They have something that says otherwise. Your staff at the time knew the Bushs were living in a house they couldn't afford and said nothing. Explain that. You can't hide a house.

    i dont think the staff knew that. they dont have something that says otherwise. they would habe thrown us on probation because they did. hamilton get your facts straight please. if you can provide any evidence that USC knew then youd be the first to do so.

    Why do people just make up lies about USC? This is what bothers USC fans the most. We are constantly said to have done things that just never happened by ignorant fans who just hate USC. USC never paid anybody. The NCAA said USC failed to do enough to prevent some shady gang bangers who had nothing to do with the school from paying Reggie Bush and his parents, most of which happened in San Diego. That is it. The NCAA investigated for five years and found no other player in our program taking money. Considering the scope of what USC is accussed to have done, and what we know happened at Penn St., proportionately we got hammered way worse than you guys.

    One major difference, what happened at USC was an NCAA violation. What happened at PSU was a criminal act.

    You're lucky Emmert wasn't around when OJ was getting chased up the 405 in his white Ford Bronco. Emmert is the judge & jury when it comes to criminal acts now, and even Johnny Cochran couldn't convince his majesty to show mercy.

    If you were an advertising major, you wouldn't go to USC because USC doesn't offer that as a major.

    Also, I agree 100% that USC got hosed by the NCAA.

    Now, the crime that OJ comitted had nothing to do with USC's football programs. But the crimes that Jerry Sandusky committed were covered up by your administration to protect the football program. Those are basic truths and if you guys haven't accepted them yet, I can't convince you.

  • Hey helpdesk calm down man, most of us came over here to say we know how it is to get destroyed by the NCAA. Penn state recruited SMU players when they were on the death penalty so no hypocrisy there. But this boards reaction is incredibly selfish and not looking at the best interest of Silas.

    You guys showed resiliency this morning by all those people showing up for the "Warriors". Silas is more then that now, he's a Trojan.

    Ha. You completely missed my point, but remember... facts are important. Did you read the Freeh report or just believe what ESPN told you? Based on your posts, I'm guessing it's the latter.

    Don't you have anything better to do in SoCal than post on our board? There's got to be a house party or club open on Tuesdays. Just be careful when you step off campus, you don't want to get shot standing in line at In N' Out Burger.
