I don't think the stats are wiped away. Just the wins.

Stats remain in tact for the players, so do school records. Players on this team are still eligible for postseason awards.

So, feel free to interpret this as you want....

i don't think the losses were ever erased from the record, just the wins.. someone can clarify that better than me tho..

The hard part for PSU and the talented kids like Redd, is that other colleges get in their ear (even if it is indirectly) and pretty told they are crazy to stay and that they understand they want to stay for their teammates and school, but in longrun, they are better off leaving PSU and playing for USC, Georgia, West Virginia, Temple, (insert any college here). They have to try to tune it out. However, that is not easy. There are a lot of schools out there that are going to target Redd, Belton, Amos, Kenney, Smith, Olaniyan, Mangiro and other kids that have huge potential. O'Brien and his staff has to rerecruit the current players, while keeping the incoming kids committed. They have a lot of work ahead of them.
