    Thanks Steve. Good point FBD. Too bad some of the posters on this board dont show the same maturity as many of our 17-18 year old recruits. The sky is not falling and you all should get acoustomed to BOB being part of the Coaching rumors year after year. We have a good coach and he is going to be sought after.
    I guess Jice info was wrong regarding the red eye to Philadelphia. LOL

    “We have faith in Coach O’Brien,” Sickels added.

    Niether Mahon or Sickels are worried that O’Brien will leave Happy Valley for a job in the NFL.

    “He said he’s staying and right now he’s there,” Mahon said. “There is nothing really I have to worry about.”

  • I can't post in the VIP thread about BOB rumors, so I'm just gonna put it in here.

    Comcast sportsnet is reporting that the 3 NFL teams looking at BOB are the Eagles, Browns, and Cardinals. All have asked to interview him.

    However, it has also been reported in other places that Reid to AZ is probably going to happen. If not, AZ loves their DC and would be willing to promote him. Also interested in the AZ DC is the Browns. But according to our own twitter thread, Chip Kelly to CLE is 95% done. As for the eagles, multiple sources from within the eagles have stated that Lurie is not willing to pay a $9 million buyout (do obviously not a $18 million buyout that PSU is reporting). Eagles are also interested in Kelly, Broncos OC McCoy, and (I think the ultimate winner) Atlanta OC Koetter.

    Yeah it does seem as though he's not really at the top of anyone's list (thank god), and it makes sense. Paying through the nose for Jim Harbaugh who had exceeded expectations for multiple years is one thing, paying $9 mil + $5 mil/year * 3 years = $24 million for a one year wonder is another. Knock on wood.

    I'm in the corner that in no way is OB interested in the Eagles. They simply don't have the QB he would want and need, and their draft pick this year isn't going to get one.

    On top of that, I highly doubt any owner is going to pay an extra 9 mil (on the low end) for OB.

  • Saw an article (most likely one posted here) that said that Philly's GM is one that is not highly thought of by Bill Belichick and guys who would advise BOB on various jobs.

    As with all of this stuff this time of year, not sure how true it is
