I was doubting wether I was going to take the trip up to State College for the first game. After today, it made my mind up for me. Yes! Count me in. This is a time when we need to come together for each other, for the students, alumni, fans, future students, and current team.
The kids on the current team, let's face it, are taking the brunt of all of this. The constant questions and distractions. They all have acted with class. Save a few for off field issues. They deserve the loyalty we have all showed in years past.
I know in the broad scheme of things it is just a football game, but let's show the world how strong we are. Let's show them the actions of a few weak men will not diminish the accomishments of all the past and current students and student athletes.

I will be there with my family. We will be there the week before as well, dropping my daughter off to start her freshman year.

No doubt about it, my wife and I will be there. My son who graduated this past May will be there. My daughter, who will be a sophomore this year, will be there.
I can't wait to see the team run out of the tunnel. I was excited about the prospect of the new season, under the new coach, before today's report. I remain excited for the players, the coaches and all the fans!
