Sad news out of DeMatha...

DeMatha senior Rico Webb, who signed with Alabama State to play next year, died this morning. The autopsy results are not available yet. Webb was a 6-foot-7, 365-pound offensive tackle. A short story from the Washington Post is linked. His photo from the 2010 Michigan State-Penn State game is also below.

Not what I was expecting to read as I just logged in.....very sad and unfortunate. At 365 pounds, I assumed that it might be health related. RIP young man.

Terrible news for such a tight nit program. I know they will mourn the loss greatly. That program is like a fraternity, very very close.
