He GETS the hand strength secret to tackling. You sink your hands into a guy and even if he bounces off, you'll slow him WAY down, not to mention most tacklers don't use their hands nearly enough.

Thank you! I fought for years when I was still coaching to incorporate grip and wrist work into the off season program. The reply from the head man? We aren't training bodybuilders here. I wanted to smash my head through a wall. Of course this was the same program where I finally convinced them to eliminate the static stretching pregame and incorporate active warm-ups and stretches, only to have it yanked a week into it b/c some parent with clout complained that it wasn't the way they used to do it. I guarantee you that dropped balls/fumbles/missed tackles will all go down full percentage points if that stuff is added into a program where it wasn't before. May not seem like much, but over the course of a season it adds up.
