Actually - there should be a test to have kids but that's another topic for another day.
If you've ever served on jury duty you'd know. A jury of your peers shouldn't consist of people that can't read above a 8th grade level and think Glenn Beck is a source of reliable information

Yea but could he understand forensic evidence? Could he understand some expert witness or would he think it was just some fancy mumbo-jumbo? Or would he just find some fella not guilty because he sounded nice and honest?

I also didn't say there should be a blanket level needed to be on a jury. But that is a legitimate fear that some may not understand the evidence presented. That's all I meant.
