It appears that this story is too big to miss out on. Every reporter is digging for the sensational to add to the Grand Jury outline and the statements made by those involved (because that is really all they have). The amount of misinformation that is floating around is truly amazing due to the fact that this is a criminal manner first and foremost and one that should be both investigated and reported with integrity and due diligence to uncover the truth. My disgust for a situation that has not even been resolved in a court of law let alone begun (or finalized the investigation) not with standing, I am becoming more and more agitated by the blatant disrespect that has been shown to this criminal case and it's victims by turning it into the Joe Paterno circus when he is not even been charged with anything.

I have to agree in terms of criminal law; especially in the State of Pennsylvania where Joe Pa is a saint. Plus I'm not sure what the point of dragging an 84 year old man (in this particular case) through the criminal process will achieve.
But in terms of civil law & overall morality, that is a different story.

Oh my yes. Let's get all santimonious and tell everybody how wonderful we are because we would have done the right thing. There were dozens of people who knew or should have known about this. Some were in greater positions of responsibility in regard to the pervert than Joe Paterno. What about them? Oh, wait. It's much more interesting to focus on Joe Paterno.
