Good pick up for the Cardinal! I guess once he knew PSU was out he felt like he had to jump on the next best option ASAP.

Not out, but certainly more difficult without Burns' transportation assistance. Bama still appears to be the clear favorite anyways.

Congrats to young master Burns. Good for him, a fine choice there(though this may sound sarcastic in reading...far far from it)

I was joking about that. Oregon, USC, are already ahead of them, and UW will be surpassing them shortly - with their new defensive staff which includes the best recruiter in America in Tosh Lupoi. Without Harbaugh and his recruiting abilities, it's going to be very difficult for Stanford to compete considering their academic filter.

I don't understand how he fits in Alabama's scheme? Will they recruit him as an OLB? He might grow into that position, but I don't know if he can play DE in a 3-4 like Bama's.

hes being recruited as a olb he is 6-3 230 and is really athletic hes perfect for their scheme. i thought we might have offered him the same position when he came to college, 230 DE seems a tad slim
