If I remember correctly coach Rose did post graduate research on a volleyball stat system that he devised. He keeps that system of stats in the book

I had him for a coaching class and he may be the funniest/most sarcastic person I've ever met. Moye was in our class and he ragged on him nonstop. By far my favorite class/instructor at Penn State. He is the best, he knows he's the best, and he takes full advantage of it, haha.
