It's nice to hear this from Rose. IIRC, back when BOB was hired, Rose said that the committee's choice of O'Brien was unanimous except for him.

I could be way off but that was my memory either working overtime or not working at all.

A guy like Rose can coach almost any sport and be highly successful. The genius coaches rise above the Xs and Os and coach the intangibles into their squads.

he has his girls practicing hard at rec hall, you can always hear them running around laps and getting conditioned after the gym if you go during certain hours

Richt was on board, but did not work out due to concerns for his son. He was my pick all along, but am liking what I see from BOB.

I thought the issue was assumed to be with his wife, not his son?

Well OB's son has a medical condition... Pretty sure. I dont know the deal with Richt's... But if I remember correctly it's similar... Someone know? At any rate, Im OK with that. OB is the real deal to me...
