While I wouldn't have been angry at an offer, and in fact said it could be a good time to offer Rodgers. I think given his film and body control that a camp offer is the best possible solution for Rodgers and Penn State. I think gem, who I have had a good conversation with regarding Rodgers, would most likely agree.

Gem, I think he is the second worst coached OL we are recruiting this year. And the coaches may be good HS coaches that just let their kids get by with that technique due to their HS success, or don't have great OL coaches, or maybe they aren't coachable, IDk. But kid has some real technique issues.
Definitely better coached than what I've seen from Gray.

Looks like there was a Virginia camp/combine just this past weekend. Rivals reviewed it and mentioned both Gray and Rodgers as having impressed (along with Paul Harris at WR). They only showed one clip of Gray and one clip of Rodgers. It's interesting to note that the one clip they showed of Rodgers had his set/base a bit narrower than it was at a combine earlier this year, and he definitely looked more comfortable and on balance, encouraging sign (I know, it's only one clip). In the one Grey clip he looked fine. He does (both in the clip and the one game film from his junior year) seem to engage in a somewhat abnormal amount of hand fighting/movement. It's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just noticeable and bit different from what you typically see. They did say Harris was the number one receiver at the camp (expect a bump in his rating on Rivals as a result).
