Robinson catching on with offense

Penn State saw a lot of movement at the wide receiver position this spring, but might have found a new big-play threat.

  • This is what has been missing from our previous coaching staff: "He taught us a lot about perfecting our routes, coming out of our breaks, how we should run routes," Robinson said. "He helps with a lot of little things."

You hear those sorts of things from many of the different position players now, including at QB, WR, and OL.

I thought McQuery did a good job with our WRs, but he wasn't a WR in his career and didn't have much experience coaching them - so it's nice that we get this experienced guy who can do that.

Anyone else look at that picture of Robinson and think "Tuck the ball away!!"?

  • I certainly hope Robinson can be a productive receiver alongside Brown..we need some better production from our receiving core. Last year everytime we faced a decent secondary that played press coverage it seemed nobody could get open.
