Facebook is a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them. People use Facebook to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, post links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet.
www.facebook.com"Rise and Rally" is a pep rally started by Keith Conlin and Coach Fitzgerald to welcome the team to their first workout of the fall. It's part of a call to action by Coach O'Brien to get the community and lettermen involved in demonstrating to this team how supportive our fan base is. It's an attempt to respond to the pouchers who have descended on campus trying to steal the kids away from us.

Great idea! I will be there, though getting a big crowd will be a challenge at 6am. Lets try to get as many people as possible.
knowing how students live in tents for a week to get front row seats, i wouldn't expect anything less than a great following.. this has a similar feeling to 2005 when the country thought the football team was drowning.. i remember pre-7 am events all throughout ohio state week and they were all well represented, despite the rain and cold..
This could become an annual event, somethng like the "Midnight Madness" celebratins for the start of basketball practice. "Morning Madness" would be a great way to suport the team every year. It would send a loud message to the incoming freshmen that they made a great choice by coming here and that we are all behind them and the team. Consider it a wake up call to the rest of college football.

Do you get to watch the practice as well?
I can't get on facebook now, but some explanation would be great of what we could expect.
It's not a practice. It's their first strength and conditioning workout of the season. The idea is to great them as they come and go from their workout. Because it's the first one of the season it will be a light workout and they will probably be done in 45 minutes so things will probably wrap up by 8AM. For locals that means they can attend the event to cheer the kids on and still make work on time.

We're working on getting the pep band there.
Keep up updated Lar! Considering coming to support the boys but will be a 2 and 1/2 hour drive each way and will need me to find early AM sitting for the two kids, so some of us want as much info as possible to weigh the pros and cons....

EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET THERE. EVERYONE. WE HAVE THE CHANCE TO SHAPE OUR FOOTBALL PROGRAM FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS.
DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE HOW MUCH THIS WILL MEAN TO THESE KIDS AND TO RECRUITS. WEAR WHITE.
+1, wish i could be there..........fan support will take any kids on the fence and make them reaffirm their commitment. It means alot to them.
