I can't imagine he would not be redshirted with all the talent at linebacker in front of him next year. There's no chance in hell a true freshman who is just starting to take up long snapping will be the #1 long snapper next year, so I think when he says he wants to play early, that probably means the second or third year on campus.

hopefully morhinweg just had an off day because we need him to step up if he is our only QB coming in this year...hopefully we get fuller

1. I think Lewis might be one of the most underrated recruits in the nation. He appears to be a tremendous athlete.
2. Holtz seems like an all-around athlete and a throwback western PA type player. At minimum he should be an early contributor on special teams.
3. Is Stanko's teammate De'Veon Smith a major prospect? Imagine the confusion on the depth chart and at Joe's press conferenences between De'Veon Smith and Devon Smith :-)

From everything I hear, Smith is a kid who should see some big offers come his way. Bill Kurelic has (at least he had) him as one of the top 10 junior recruits in Ohio at one point. From talking to Stanko, Penn State was in Smith's top two (I haven't touched base with Smith yet).

Love how basically Cam is trying to do anything to get on the field and contribute for PSU in anyway.
Kid seems like he is destined to be a captain one day.
I guess I should warn you, if I turn out to be particularly clear, you've probably misunderstood what I've said.

I watched his film, and he doesn't look all that great to me. Power back all the way, as he doesn't seem to have even average speed.
Then again, I watched it right after Derrick Green's film...6'0 215 with 4.4 speed.
